As an entrepreneur and first-time mama to twin boys, two pups, and wife to Officer “Ace”, planning isn’t only what I do for work, it’s a way of life. The response I would get from most people when I told them I was expecting two, was usually that I was the perfect person for twins because I am a planner by nature and well organized. But even then, I could never have been fully prepared for what was in store with twins!
To say that finding out you’re expecting twins is shocking news, is quite the understatement. And to say that finding a healthy balance between work and life is easy, is just unrealistic for most people. However, as the saying goes “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. On this blog, I share experiences and stories of how I tried to find that way through a not-so-easy twin pregnancy, surviving hospital bed rest, as well as some insight into just how unorganized even the most organized person’s life can feel. Because I also love planning pretty (and awesome) parties, I also share some inspiration and some of my work with events on this blog.
I am not an expert in raising twins by any means, but here you’ll also find some tips and tricks of what’s been tried and true in our home that have helped me maintain my sanity (for the most part) as a working parent to two amazing twin boys.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me immersed in laughs and tiring fun with my three boys (including my husband), who are my nucleus and reason for everything I do. I hope you’ll follow along and join us on this crazy adventure we call life!
